Hi, I’m Jeeti Dhammu (JD) — a late-blooming crocheter, pattern designer, and information systems consultant from Perth, Western Australia. My crochet pronouns are maker, designer, yarn gatherer, and lost-hook finder.

I actually got into crocheting by accident  thanks to a Spotlight sale on crochet hooks in May 2021. With my new hooks and the search engines of Google and YouTube, I began developing my skills and, learning from the amazing creators on the internet. What started as a $1.50 impulse buy turned into a creative detour that completely reshaped my life.

Crochet is pretty much my whole personality now. You can find me on Instagram @jeeti_makes, where I share the hot mess that is my #crochetlife (and my craft room). In between my eclectic aesthetics (WIPs and all), I post my musings on what it means to be a creator in a digital world.
